3 · Token packs — download & print

Tokens are the on-platform credit, and one token buys exactly one document action: a repair-manual PDF download or a print-to-PDF job with watermark. In addition, tokens never expire, so buying a larger pack at a better unit rate carries no usage deadline.

Which plan fits your workshop?

Choose by usage pattern: occasional users do best with the free trial plus a small token pack, screen-first workshops save with per-brand membership, and high-volume shops or dealer groups get the lowest unit price from all-brands membership combined with a large token pack. However, every plan can be changed at any time, because upgrades apply immediately and downgrades take effect at the next billing period.

A practical way to decide: count how many PDF exports your workshop made during the trial — that number is your token demand, and everything beyond it is pure browsing that a membership already covers. Dealers and chains should also weigh the batch-account option, because technician seats under one billing profile remove per-person bookkeeping entirely.

Payment methods & billing

All payments are processed by established channel providers — Stripe, PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay — which means EV Manual never sees or stores your card number, and every transaction completes on the provider's own secure page. In addition, the shop issues a receipt for every order, upgrades apply immediately, and downgrades take effect at the next billing period, so you are never double-charged for overlapping coverage.

Token economy in practice

A token is spent only when a document leaves the platform: opening a manual online, searching VINs and browsing parameter sheets are always free for registered users. As a result, a workshop that mostly reads on screen may never spend a token, while a workshop that archives manuals as PDFs can estimate monthly token usage directly from its print volume — one token per download, one per print job, nothing else. Trial tokens and purchased tokens share one wallet, so nothing is lost when the trial ends.
