Coverage & data
EV Manual covers 549 brands, 4,365 series and 66,619 model parameter sheets, ranging from Toyota, BMW and
Mercedes-Benz to BYD, Tesla, NIO and other new-energy brands. In addition, each model version carries its VIN
prefix and full factory parameters, so coverage is measured per model version rather than per nameplate.
What is EV Manual?
EV Manual (ev-manual.com) is a global vehicle repair technical data center: repair manuals, wiring diagrams, DTC fault-code lookup, VIN decoding and full model parameter sheets across 549 brands and 66,619 model versions.
Which brands and models are covered?

Where does the data come from and how accurate is it?
Content is compiled from brand official technical publications and reviewed by our technical content team before release. VIN results always carry an explicit match level; if only a WMI-level match exists, the banner tells you so.
VIN decoding
Paste any 17-digit VIN into the search box and the decoder returns the matching model version in seconds, with
an explicit confidence level. However, if the exact 8-character prefix is not yet in the database, the decoder
falls back to the manufacturer WMI (first 3 characters) and shows that fallback clearly.
How does VIN decoding work?
Paste any 17-digit VIN into the search box. We first match the exact 8-character VIN prefix; if it is not in the database we fall back to the manufacturer WMI (first 3 characters), optionally narrowed by the brand you selected. Three match levels are always shown so you know how confident the result is: exact prefix, WMI, or brand-level candidates.
What does a VIN prefix match level mean?
The match level tells you how precisely your VIN was identified. An exact prefix match means all 8 characters of your VIN's prefix are in the database; a WMI match identifies only the manufacturer; brand-level candidates are the loosest. As a result, you always know whether to trust the result for ordering parts.
Which VIN standard do you follow?
We follow the ISO 3779 structure used worldwide: 17 characters where the first 3 are the WMI, characters 4–9 are the VDS and the last 8 are the VIS. You can compare any VIN against the
ISO 3779 VIN standard on Wikipedia.
Pricing & tokens
Registration is free and includes a 24-hour full-access trial plus 20 gift tokens; after the trial, browsing
stays free while PDF downloads and print-to-PDF cost 1 token each. In other words, you only pay when you export a
document for workshop use, and tokens never expire.

What are tokens used for?
Tokens are the on-platform credit: 1 token = 1 repair-manual PDF download or print-to-PDF. Recharge tokens in the shop; members get better rates.
Do tokens expire?
No. Tokens never expire, so a workshop can buy a larger pack at a better unit rate and use it across months without losing credit.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Stripe, PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay are supported in the shop. As a result, both European and Asian workshops can pay in their preferred channel without extra fees.
Technical & partnership
Three integration forms exist — JS widget, REST API and white-label CNAME — and all of them can be tested with
free credentials before any contract. However, white-label deployments require a domain you control, because the
data center runs under your own subdomain.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in 14 languages (EN, DE, ES, FR, IT, PT, RU, TR, JA, KO, AR, ZH and more) and can be switched from any page in the shop.
Do you offer API access or white-label partnership?
Yes. Three integration forms are available:

Account & registration
Registration takes under a minute and needs only an email address plus a verification code; there is no credit
card step and no automatic conversion into a paid plan. As a result, you can test the full dataset — manuals,
wiring diagrams, PDF downloads — with zero payment risk, and the account page shows remaining trial hours and the
token balance at any moment.
How do I create an account?
Open
/shop/register.html, enter your email and the verification code, and your account is created instantly — the 24-hour trial and 20 gift tokens are already active.
What happens when the 24-hour trial ends?
Nothing is charged — the trial simply ends. Free browsing continues, and you can activate a membership or buy tokens whenever you need PDF downloads or printing.
Where do I see my tokens and orders?
The account page lists your token balance, order history, active memberships and remaining trial time in one view, so you always know what you have before exporting a document.
